



WHAT TYPES OF ELECTRIC FIRES ARE AVAILABLE?
No chimney? No problem!
Increasingly modern new build homes in the UK are produced without a conventional chimney. Fortunately Electric fire types are available and they don't require a chimney.

Freestanding Electric Fires
Designed as a freestanding unit to offer a realistic alternative to a solid fuel fireplace. Some freestanding electric fires can be adapted to flat wall installation using a spacer kit. With a range of modern and traditional styles.
Inset Electric Fires
Inset electric fires are extremely versitile, available in both modern contempory and traditional styles. They can be fully or semi-inset, and in most cases the flame effect can be viewed without having to have the heat on, so you can enjoy the look of your fire all year round.


Slimline Electric Fires
Slimeline electric fires are made with a shallower inset depth to allow installation in homes where a full depth fire wouldn't be suitable. Sporting a range of modern and more traditional style options.
Hang-On-The-Wall Electric Fires
Suited best for installations on a flat wall, and available in both landscape and portrait design options. They are a great choice for rooms with less floor space, and offer many finish options which look fantastic in any contemporary styled areas.

Hole-In-The-Wall Electric Fires
Also known as wall-recess fires are designed for installation into a wall recess to sit almost flush with the wall. A popular choice for the modern interior. They range from compact size, suited for smaller rooms, to extra large electric wall fires, suitable for a main feature in a larger space

Fuel Beds
A Fuel bed is the part of a fire where the flames appear to come through. There are many different styles of fuel beds of offer, common fuel bed styles include Pebbles, Coals, and Driftwood.
Deep fuel beds or full depth fuel beds are featured on fires designed for older homes with traditional brick built chimneys. These are known as Class 1 Chimney Fires.
Slimline fires have slimline fuel beds, and are often refered to as Class 2 Chimney Fires, flat wall fires, or multi-flue fires.
Fires with slimline fuel beds are suitable for most types of chimneys because they can fit a wider variety of flues. Most slimline fuel bed fires are shallower than their full depth counterparts by at least 100mm.
Electric Fires
Inset and slimline electric fires are a great choice for traditional fireplaces, while a more modern setting home will benefit from an electric wall fire.
