Made in the Midlands Runner Up

Manufacturers from all over the Midlands gathered together at the Wolverhampton Science Museum on 16th October to celebrate their achievements. AEO were proud to be part of that celebration. We were surprised but delighted to receive the runner up award for overall manufacturing achievement. The award recognises investment, innovation, growth, export and diversity across the sector. We have invested over £2m in our family run business, successfully relocating and expanding into 53,500 sq. ft. premises. This has enabled us to increase our capacity capabilities with further investments into state of the art equipment for our tool room, to ensure more efficient and accurate processes and manufacturing of tooling. Investing in the young people of this country and enhancing skills through training and apprenticeships is an important aspect of our growth and for future manufacturing, and our recent investments have given us this opportunity.
